eva pau introducing herself

Hi, I’m Eva Pau

I’m Managing Director of Asia Market, TV chef on RTÉ One, and honestly? I grew up in Asia Market in the heart of Dublin, surrounded by sacks of rice, shelves of sauces, and flavours from all across Asia. Food was never just food in my world. It was family, culture, connection, and everyday life.

My parents opened Asia Market in Dublin in the late eighties, and that little shop became my entire world. While other kids had playgrounds, I had aisles packed with ingredients most Irish people had never heard of. I learned about food by stacking shelves, helping customers, and watching my mum cook without ever measuring a thing.

Now, I’m on a mission to make Asian cooking feel as approachable and exciting as it should be. Whether you’re shopping in our store, watching me on TV, or cooking from my recipes, I want to show you that Asian ingredients aren’t intimidating.

Welcome to my kitchen. I’m so glad you’re here!
